Stampin' Up!s gorgeous sketched flowers and leaves in the Inked & Tiled stamp set also have wonderful sayings. I love that the Inked and Tiled stamp set includes Happy Birthday, Thank you, Just a note, Hello Friend and more. It really is a very versatile set. Ironically, today's card does not feature any of the great sentiments included - but I do plan on stamping one on the inside of the card when I'm ready to mail it.
Do you ever save adding a sentiment until just before using the card? I do. I've been known to have my family sitting in the car while I quickly stamp a greeting inside a card. I don't suggest waiting that long to decide on a card greeting, but it is nice to have blank cards ready for any occasion that may come up.
Make it yourself
The deckled rectangles are used for the layers for the flower. You could simplify and cut rectangles, but I find once you own Stampin' Up!'s Cut and Emboss machine it is difficult not to use the all the die cuts available! The Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder add more visual interest to the background layer. Again, you could skip this step but embossing folders are addictive!

- Crushed Curry: piece minimum 2 ¼”x 3 ½”

Stamping and Assembly:
- Score the Basic White Thick Cardstock at 4 ¼” and fold on the score mark to create your card base.
- Emboss the large Basic White piece with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine and the Timeless Type 3D embossing folder.
- Use the Blending Brush and the Crushed Curry ink to rub colour in an oval shape towards the bot-tom left of the background. Adhere to the card front.
- Cut out both a Basic White and Crushed Curry rectangle using the deckled rectangle die that is closest to 2” x 3”.
- Ink up the flower stamp by carefully inking the flowers only with the Crushed Curry ink pad. Use the Meadow Moss Stampin’ Write marker to ink up the stems. Stamp onto the basic white decked rectangle.
- Adhere the stamped image on an angle to the Crushed Curry deckled rectangle.
- Tie a piece of the white Baker’s twine around the bottom and tie with a bow.
- Punch the end of the Inked Botanicals DSP strip as shown. Check the length – if it is too long, punch again to make shorter. Adhere to the card front as shown.
- Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the stamped image to the card front.
